1. About SpokenCV
SpokenCV Ltd ("we", "us", "our") operates a recruitment matching platform connecting motor vehicle mechanics and technicians ("Mechanics") with independent garages and workshops ("Garages") across the United Kingdom.
By using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use SpokenCV
- Mechanics must hold valid UK work authorisation
- Garages must be legitimate businesses operating in the UK
3. Mechanic Accounts
- Registration is free and always will be
- You register by completing a phone interview with our AI assistant
- Your voice recording is processed to create your profile
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide
- You can edit your profile at any time via phone + OTP verification
- You can delete your account at any time
4. Garage Accounts
- Registration includes a 30-day free trial
- After the trial, a monthly subscription is required to access mechanic profiles
- Contact unlock fees and placement fees are non-refundable once the service has been rendered
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
5. Subscription & Payments
- Subscription: £59/month — access to search and view mechanic profiles
- Placement fee: £499 one-time — payable when you hire a mechanic through SpokenCV
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel at any time via your account.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at admin@go-ops.digital.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information
- Use the platform for purposes other than legitimate recruitment
- Share mechanic contact details obtained through the platform with third parties
- Attempt to circumvent platform fees (e.g., hiring mechanics off-platform after viewing their profile)
- Scrape, copy, or automated extraction of data from the platform
- Harass, abuse, or discriminate against any users
7. Data Protection
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
8. Intellectual Property
- The SpokenCV platform, design, and technology are owned by SpokenCV Ltd
- Mechanics retain ownership of their personal information
- By registering, mechanics grant us a licence to display their profile to garages on the platform
9. Limitation of Liability
- SpokenCV is a matching platform — we do not employ mechanics or guarantee placements
- We are not responsible for the accuracy of information provided by users
- We are not liable for any employment disputes between mechanics and garages
- Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding any claim
10. Termination
- You may close your account at any time
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
- Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
